Lawrence Geddie has
more than twenty years' experience in
editing, proofreading and teaching
English Composition and Grammar. He holds
his M.A. (Summa cum laude) from Queens
College of the City University of New
York and B.A. with Honors from The
University of Texas at Austin. He has
worked as an associate editor with the
PREP Program of Barnard College and the
WORLD POLICY JOURNAL in United Nations
Plaza.
As an
instructor, he has taught Composition and
Manuscript Preparation at Sacred Heart
University and Communications at The
University of New Haven, Central
Connecticut State University, Quinnipiac
University, and Armstrong Atlantic
University. For three years Lawrence
taught both Playwriting and Screenwriting
within the State University of New York
(SUNY) system.
He is
founding director of the Fairchester
Playwrights & Screenwriters author's
guild of Ridgefield, Connecticut.
Lawrence and
his family now reside in a turn of the
(last) century farmhouse near Savannah,
Georgia.
